As the new school year kicked off, The Element’s e1 (Grade 7 & 8) students eagerly set out for Lake Temagami. While canoeing across historic fur trade routes offered a glimpse of Canada’s rich history, it was the smaller moments that left lasting imprints on the young adventurers.
Throughout the 2022-2023 school year, our grade 11 (e3) students orchestrated an international community service trip to Costa Rica. Their adventure was a combination of immersive learning and cultural exploration.
Maria Montessori’s revolutionary educational method was developed in Italy in 1907, and its innovative and effective approach to learning is still applauded worldwide. The Montessori method recognizes the limitations of traditional classrooms in meeting the diverse needs of students.
