DRESS & DETAILS

  1. • What should I wear?
  • Dress casually. It’s an easy-going lounge-style party in a very cool atmosphere.
  1. • What time does the party start?
  • Doors open at 7:00pm. The games, bartenders, cooks, and DJ will be ready for you!
  1. • Where is The Element?
  • At Lansdowne Park (above Jack Astor’s): 425 Marche Way, Unit #201
  1. • If I still have questions after reading these FAQs, whom should I contact?

 

FOOD & DRINKS

  1. • What will be available to eat?
  • Two cooks will be on-site serving a variety of hot and cold bites for your enjoyment, including:
    • – Oysters on the half-shell
    • – House made sushi rolls
    • – Smoked duck breast rice wrap
    • – Tomato-bocconcini skewers
    • – Porchetta sliders
    • – Watermelon feta salad
    • – Top sirloin beef skewers
    • – White-bean truffle dip
    • – AND MUCH MORE!!!
  1. • How do I pay for my food?
  • You don’t. It’s included!
  1. • What will be available to drink?
  • Three bartenders will be selling a wide-range of spirits and cocktails along with wine and beer.
  1. • How will I pay for my drinks?
  • This is a cash-bar event. An ATM will be available on-site.
  1. • Must I pre-order my bottle service?

 

FUN & GAMES

  1. • What games will be available to play?
  • The Element students are busy designing a variety of carnival games to challenge your skills.
  1. • How do I pay for the games?
  • You can buy tokens at the party. Credit and debit cards will be accepted, but cash is preferred. An ATM will be available on-site.
  1. • Will there be a photo-booth?
  • Absolutely. Capture the moment!

 

SILENT AUCTION

  1. • What items will be available to bid on?
  • Details of the items will be made available in the next few weeks. They will be a combination of items made by OMS students and items donated by friends of the school.
  1. • Can I still bid on items even though I can’t attend the event?

 

TICKETS

  1. • Who is welcome to attend?
  • Anyone looking to have a great time and contribute to a great school: teachers, staff, parents, and friends.
  1. • How much do tickets cost?
  • If purchased in advance, tickets cost $40 each. At the door, they cost $50 each. Groups of eight tickets cost $280 (i.e. $35 each). Buy some for your friends!
  1. • Where can I buy tickets?
  1. • How can I pay for tickets?
  • Credit, debit, cash or cheque.
  1. • Where do the proceeds go?
  • All proceeds go directly to support the school. If you wish your contribution to support the Beth MacKay Bursary Fund, contact afterdark@omsmontessori.com
  1. • Can I still contribute even though I can’t attend the event?

 

FOR THE SERIOUS-MINDED

  1. • Can I bring my children?
  • Sorry, no. Treat yourself to a fun night without them!
  1. • Can underground parking at Lansdowne be validated?
  • Sorry, no. You should Uber.
  1. • Can I get a tax receipt?
  1. • I pay enough in tuition, why should I give more?
  • All proceeds go directly to support the school – and our children. We inherited an amazing school because previous generations of families were generous with their time and money. Now, it’s our turn to leave the school even better than we found it. Come have fun!
