About Me
Filip Wawrzynczak is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers, having graduated from the University of Ottawa. Additionally he completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literary studies at Ryerson University and holds a diploma from Algonquin College in scriptwriting. As a trilingual son of two Polish immigrants, Fil has always found interest in the exploration of cultural intersections through textual analysis. His academic lens is mainly centred on the Humanities, with a specific focus on English and Media Arts. Fil has worked as a volunteer at “The Door” youth centre, where he ran both skateboarding instruction and urban art workshops. He is passionate about education in all forms. Outside of school, Fil enjoys skateboarding, creating art, reading (mostly graphic novels), hiking, travelling and exploring the world around him.
