Erin Martins

About Me

Erin obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Major in Music from Western University, in her hometown of London, Ontario. Erin then received a Bachelor of Education from The University of Ottawa, igniting her passion for advocating for students’ mental health and wellness both in and out of the classroom. Inspired to dive deeper into mental health and wellness, Erin travelled to Nova Scotia to study Music Therapy, obtaining a Postgraduate Certificate of Music Therapy from Acadia University. While living in Nova Scotia, Erin practiced Music Therapy within the Annapolis Valley community, taught as an online adult ESL teacher, and explored the beautiful coast. Erin is passionate about supporting young people and facilitating student empowerment through experiential education. In her free time, Erin enjoys an active lifestyle, playing soccer, rugby, taking Muay Thai classes, and spending time outdoors with friends. Erin encourages her students to be courageous in living authentically and finding empowerment in self expression.
