Emily received her first degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, where she studied Honours Geography, History and Business Studies. She received her teaching degree at the University of Western Sydney in Australia and has also been awarded Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the United Kingdom. Emily has had the opportunity to teach and live in several unique countries around the world, including Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. As a keen Humanities teacher, Emily has explored her passions by travelling and experiencing 28 different countries across the globe. Outside of school, she loves taking her two children to swimming and gymnastics practices, as well as pursuing the hobbies of skiing, hiking, cycling and fitness.
